The American Taekwondo
Association (ATA) is the premier
North American organization
dedicated to the martial arts
discipline of Taekwondo, and is
the founding organization of other
international affiliates.
The word Taekwondo itself is
made up of three Chinese/Korean
words: Tae, meaning to kick or
jump; Kwon, meaning fist or hand;
and Do, which means "the way."
Loosely (if not literally), it can be
thought of as "The Way of the
Hand and Foot."
We are proud to be a part of the Songahm Taekwondo and the American Taekwondo Association.

Our instructors are interested in teaching more
than just self-defense. Our interest is in the
complete personal development of each
student. Our goal is to stress the importance of
self-confidence and self-esteem in each and
every class. The teaching curriculum at ATA
Karate Center is based on two concepts:
 | | Positive Mental Attitude
|
 | | High Goal Setting
|
We look forward to seeing YOU in one of our | | classes soon!
